Social Responsibility
We do the right thing. Always.
Crawford believes in giving back to the communities we serve and responsibly stewarding our resources.
Global Day of Service
Every October, Crawford employees worldwide to join together in service of their respective communities for Global Day of Service. Over the last decade, our teams have participated in hundreds of diverse humanitarian projects, each chosen by employees in their regions. From building homes for the homeless in Florida to providing support to victims of earthquakes and tsunamis in Indonesia, Crawford employees donate their time to restore and enhance lives, businesses and communities across the globe.
Global Day of Service is also a manifestation of Crawford’s RESTORE values. We strive to embody these values as a collective group and as individuals in our work at Crawford and within our communities. When we work together as One Crawford, there is no limit to what we can accomplish for the greater good. See highlights from the 10th anniversary of Global Day of Service in the video above.

Diversity and inclusion
Diversity is a key focus of our culture. Crawford values diversity as it fosters innovation, collaboration and new ideas.

Crawford is a member of the Business Insurance Diversity and Inclusion Institute, an organisation dedicated to promoting and advancing diversity and inclusion in every facet of the commercial insurance industry.
In 2018, Crawford Australia launched its Diversity Council which works to plan and drive the initiatives identified in Crawford's Diversity Action Plan with a view to assisting Crawford in becoming a more diverse and inclusive workplace.
Crawford recognises that businesses that are diverse in age, gender, race, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, ethnicity and perspective are more successful. We are committed to creating a workplace which is fair and inclusive and that truly reflects the diversity of the communities in which we live and work.
Environmental responsibility
Crawford believes in minimising environmental impact and takes meaningful steps to ensure our processes are efficient and sustainable. We incorporate sustainability criteria into our purchasing policies, from selecting vendors that offer eco-friendly solutions to using fuel-efficient, lower emissions fleet vehicles. We have implemented programs to reduce energy consumption in our data centres and use audio and video conferencing to reduce travel impacts. Every administrative and operational process is carefully reviewed to potentially reduce our carbon footprint.
