Bob Welsh

After obtaining a BA degree in economics from Ohio University, Robert joined the commercial claims industry as a trainee with IA Toplis & Harding 1988. He remained with that firm through several name changes (McLarens Toplis/VeriClaim) ultimately achieving the title of Executive General Adjuster in 2002. During that period, he was the lead adjuster handling multi-million-dollar commercial property losses from such notable events as Hurricane Katrina and 9/11. Robert subsequently held claims advisory positions with both Aon and Marsh in New York before joining Crawford in October 2015. He currently holds the title of SVP, Claims Operations, Global Technical Services and is based in New York City.
