John Tirel Capt.

John has built a distinguished global career in the maritime industry, beginning with deck officer training in the U.K. and rising to command roles aboard various vessel types. After transitioning ashore, he led marine surveying operations in Djibouti, serving as a P&I correspondent for most major Clubs and managing the Lloyd’s Agency. His extensive international experience spans the Middle East, Europe, and North America, and he has served as an expert witness in multiple legal jurisdictions. Notably, he was the first marine surveyor appointed by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce for arbitration in Saudi Arabia. In his current role as Vice President of U.S. Global Marine and Consulting, John serves as a key leader for all marine-related claims and a dedicated resource to our team of marine experts.
